Cream 15 – Triple CD Album Review
A journey through 20 years of Cream, Ibiza memories and dancefloor anthems.
Cream at 15 – a celebration of dance history
Cream have been at the forefront of dance music for around 15 years, and to celebrate they released a 3-CD album called Cream 15. I was lucky enough to be given a promo copy to review – and it’s barely left my CD player since.
The compilation pulls together some of the biggest dance anthems of the last couple of decades. Ultra Naté’s Free instantly took me back to my first visit to Ibiza – we went on a boat trip and this tune was absolutely banging out. Happy days.
The album captures the sound of Cream at Nation in Liverpool as well as those huge nights in Ibiza, dancing until dawn at Amnesia and beyond. If you spent your weekends in clubs or summers chasing closing parties, this will feel like a time capsule.
If you love dance culture, this is a must-own compilation. You get club anthems like Nightcrawlers’ Push the Feeling On and Robin S’ Show Me Love, plus Ibiza favourites such as Nalin & Kane’s Beachball, Push’s Universal Nation, Storm by Storm and David Morales’ Needing U.
