Creamfields South 2022 – Tickets Line Up Details

Creamfields are celebrating their 25th Anniversary by adding a new event in 2022. Creamfields South will be taking place in Chelmsford at Hyland Park on the weekend of June 3rd and June 4th 2022. This is the Queen Platinum Jubilee weekend which will be a 4 day bank holiday weekend.

Creamfields Chelmsford will take place on the end of May Bank Holiday weekend as part of a 10 year agreement with Chelmsford Borough Council and Festival Republic. Festival Republic has agreed to host an event at Hylands Park for the next 10 years and you would expect this to be creamfields for this period.
The new Creamfield event will host 50,000 clubbers for 2 days of the best dance music with camping available on site.
Hylands Park is a world famous music festival venue which played host to V Festival for over 20 years from 1996. The grade II listed Hylands House provides an iconic backdrop now for one of the biggest and best known music festivals in the world.
SteelYard creamfieldsCreamfields are set to bring the same amazing production which they are famous from the creamfields Darebury Liverpool site. This will include many different dance genre stages and the massive 15,000 capacity SteelYard super dance arena.
The Creamfields South Headliners have been announced with French Super DJ David Guetta to headline on Friday 3rd June 2022 and Scotland’s World famous Calvin Harris to headline the Saturday 4th June 2022. Fatboy Slim will also be appearing.
Other acts confirmed include Becky Hill will be making her Creamfields debut. Ibiza and Cream legend Carl Cox will be appearing along with Camelphat, deadmau5, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens and Paradise head honcho Jamie Jones. A further 150 or so acts will be added to the line up in the forthcoming weeks

Chelmsford Council is pleased to get major festivals back in the city. Cllr Stephen Robinson, leader of Chelmsford City Council, said: “We have been working for some time to negotiate a long term deal and we are pleased it has been agreed and we have got a festival date.
Creamfields first took place in 1998 in the South, which means next years even will bring the event back to the South. The original creamfields took place at matterley bowl in Winchester, before moving to Liverpool the following year. It found its current home on the Darebury Park Estate in Cheshire in 2006.
BBC Radio 1 has announced they will broadcasts sets from the festival like they did back in 1998 at the first creamfields.
Tickets for the 1st Creamfields South go on general sale at 10am on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
